CDBG & Human Services

Body

The Program Year 2024 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) is now available. This report summarizes and evaluates previous achievements that were undertaken to meet the City's 5-year Consolidated Plan for housing and community development needs, focusing on utilizing funds from the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships Program provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The City's Human Services and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs allocate grants to help support local non-profit organizations that provide social services to low- and moderate-income City of Santa Barbara residents. The program also provides CDBG capital funds for construction and economic development activities that benefit low- and moderate-income City neighborhoods and individuals.
