 | SBA Offers Travel Tips For the Labor Day Holiday! |
| | SANTA BARBARA, CA - Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) anticipates a busier-than-normal travel period from Thursday, September 2 through Tuesday, September 7 during the Labor Day holiday weekend.
More than 15,000 passengers traveled through SBA during the same time period in 2009 with the busiest travel days being the Friday before and Monday of Labor Day.
Passengers and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and give themselves 90 minutes to two hours in order to make their flight.

| Library Adds eBooks to Downloadable Services |
| | The Public Library System has added eBooks, readable on a computer or compatible eBook reader, to its downloadable collection at www.SBPLibrary.org. Beginning Aug 16, patrons with a library card, a computer, and Internet connection can browse the collection, check out, and download eBooks 24/7. The initial 600 eBooks, funded by a federal grant, include the popular Stieg Larsson Millennium novels as well as nonfiction titles. Training will be scheduled during the fall at all library branches.
