This neighborhood is an eastern peninsula of the City that is surrounded by County land namely Montecito.
Coast Village is primarily a commercial district with some scattered residential development. The General Plan designates this area for commercial uses, and it is anticipated that they will continue and probably expand. In addition to commercial development in the area, it is anticipated that further residential development may occur.
