PUBLIC WORKSHOP ON THE CITY'S DRAFT SEA LEVEL RISE VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT
On December 5, 2018, the City of Santa Barbara is hosting a Public Workshop on the Draft City of Santa Barbara Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment at the Louise Lowry Davis Center (1232 De la Vina Street) from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Please note that the location of the workshop has changed since originally announced).
The workshop will start with a formal presentation at 6:15 p.m. on the Draft Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to view maps and ask questions to learn more about the risks of sea level rise in their area and strategies that are being explored to address anticipated impacts.The Draft Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment, along with associated draft hazard maps, are available at www.santabarbaraca.gov/slr. Hard copies of the document are also available for review at reception on the 2nd floor of the City’s offices at 630 Garden Street and the Central Library (40 East Anapamu Street).
