Online Customer Survey (English and Spanish)

The City’s Land Development Team (LDT) is seeking your input following changes to the development review process. Over the past year, the LDT has implemented process improvements based on customer feedback. We are launching a Land Development Customer Experience Survey to get your feedback on this past year’s changes and to request additional input on ways to continue to improve and expand our services. This survey is for both our “frequent flyer” customers as well as infrequent or one-time permit seekers.

Information gathered from this online survey will be shared with the City Council’s LDT Oversight Subcommittee and will also be used to help guide a subsequent workshop with the development community. We are seeking input from developers, homeowners, design professionals, business owners, and contractors, etc. who have been involved with any of the following types of applications between July 1, 2020 to present when some changes to the process were made:

  • Building Permit Application (including on-demand permits)
  • Planning Application (design review, Staff Hearing Officer, Planning Commission)
  • Project Review Team (PRT) Application

The online survey will be available through Tuesday, September 28th, and can be completed at any time during the 8-day window.

Please go here to take the survey: Land Development Customer Experience Survey

Land Development Team: “Helping you enhance our City and build a better community”
The LDT is comprised of five different City departments including Community Development, Public Works, Fire, Parks and Recreation, and Sustainability and Resilience. The LDT's objective is to review development projects for compliance with laws and policies so that the resulting development is reflective of the community's values and that people are informed about how and when to participate in the land development process.

For more information on the LDT’s process improvement implementation, please email us at or visit the LDT Oversight Subcommittee webpage for the latest conversation.
