What is PACE?

Property Assessed Clean Energy Financing (PACE) a financing mechanism to allow property owners to make energy efficiency, seismic improvements and water conservation upgrades to real property. Under this model, property owners can borrow up to 100 percent of the project cost and repayments are added to the annual property tax bill issued by the County. PACE is just one of many options to consider when looking for financing for home projects.
