Electric Vehicle ChargingPublic Works


To activate an Electrical Vehicle Charging Station, hold your ChargePoint membership card or RFID credit card to the front of the display screen. If you do not have a ChargePoint card or RFID credit card, call the toll free 1-888 number printed on the station. The holster will unlock and you can begin charging your vehicle after activating the station. More detailed instructions are available at

Harbor Main Lot (125 Harbor Way) - 2 Stations. Harbor EV charging stations are managed by the Waterfront Department and are accessible through the lot towards the boat launch ramp area.


In addition to applicable hourly parking fees, EV owners who wish to use the stations will be charged a fee of:

$0.20 per Kilowatt Hour from 9:00 pm to 3:59 pm.

$0.35 per Kilowatt Hour from 4:00 pm to 8:59 pm.

There is a minimum fee of $1.00 for each session.
