  • Neighborhood & Outreach Services
    The Neighborhood and Outreach Services section provides outreach to underserved youth and teens, improves services to families, enhances neighborhoods, builds community pride through preservation projects, and creates a healthier community.
  • Chef Apprentice Program
    The Culinary Arts Program is specially designed for high school juniors and seniors and offers credits through enrollment in a 16-week culinary arts class taught by professional chefs and caterers.
  • Franklin Youth Drop in Center
    The Franklin Neighborhood Center is located on the eastside of Santa Barbara adjacent to the Eastside Library. The Center has its own parking lot and several options for room rentals.
  • Job Apprenticeship Program
    The Job Apprenticeship Program provides youth with alternatives to violence-oriented lifestyles and a positive environment for the expression of youth concerns while fostering their self awareness and survival skills.
  • Santa Barbara Arts Alliance
    The Santa Barbara Arts Alliance is a free year round art-based mentoring program designed to address juvenile delinquency, youth-on-youth violence and graffiti vandalism.
  • Twelve35 Teen Center
    Drop in and check out SB’s TEENS ONLY facility, located at 1235 Chapala Street in downtown Santa Barbara.
  • Youth Council
    The Santa Barbara Youth Council serves as a voice for the creation of City policies and the coordination and development of facilities and activities for teens in the community.
  • Youth Volunteer Opportunities
    Become a volunteer at any one of our three neighborhood centers. Develop new skills and establish a strong network of peers and other community professionals and at the same time support your neighborhood.
