The NAC also includes liaisons from the Parks and Recreation Commission, City Youth Council, and Community Development Human Services Committee.
The Neighborhood Advisory Council works to provide programs and outreach services to strengthen families, improve outcomes for children and youth, enhance neighborhoods and create stronger communities.
The Council also works closely with the Neighborhood Improvement Task Force, local non-profits, and the Community Development Human Services Commission, and focuses on building community networks and collaborations to increase delivery of necessary services to targeted neighborhoods.
Community members who have an interest in issues facing targeted City neighborhoods are invited to attend scheduled monthly meetings. The Council would like to hear from you! The Neighborhood Advisory Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
