Want to raise an emotionally healthy child? Ever wonder how it’s done in today’s world? If yes, join award-winning author, Maureen Healy, who has an active mentoring practice for highly sensitive children in Santa Barbara and speaks globally on the subject. Healy writes for Psychology Today, and has contributed to the PBS program, This Emotional Life. Her first book, Growing Happy Kids, has been translated into multiple languages. In October, Maureen’s new book comes out, The Emotionally Healthy Child, which has received some early praise:
“The Emotionally Healthy Child provides practical advice that is accessible and potentially transformative – for the child, parent, and their relationship” – Tal Ben-Shahar, author of Happier and former Harvard University professor
“The Emotionally Healthy Child can help any adult who wants to raise healthier and ultimately happier children today” – Michele Borba, author of Unselfie
Come and join Maureen Healy and the Santa Barbara Public Library for an evening of inspiration, practical strategies, and new friends as we come together in community to raise emotionally healthy children. Healy will provide real-life strategies to help your children and answer audience questions.
