Theatre Book Club

A fun way to get more out of your theatre experience!

Theatre Book Club is a collaboration of the Ensemble Theatre Company and the Santa Barbara Public Library. Read the plays and join the conversations, led by Ensemble Theatre Company’s Dramaturg, Sam Lahne. Discussions will focus on the plays from a dramatic and literary standpoint, rather than the current production at the Ensemble Theatre.

Copies of each play will be available for 7-day loan at the Santa Barbara Central Library approximately one month before the discussion date. They will be shelved in the New Books area on the main level. Check our catalog for availability.

Theatre Book Club is free and open to the public. No experience necessary! Feel free to come and listen or add your comments. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre and at the library!
