Are you a US veteran? Meet with a Veterans Services Officer at the library and connect with the wide range of programs and services available to you and your family. This program is in partnership with the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) and the California State Library.
The goals of Vets Connect are to:
1. Provide veteran benefits and local service information to veterans and family members, and links to other organizations serving veterans especially local County Veteran Service Offices, CalVet and the Federal VA.
2. Increase California veteran benefit claims.
3. Connect veterans and their families to library resources.
Meet one-to-one with a County Veterans Services Officer at Central Library on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. To make an appointment, call 805-962-7653.
Visit our Veterans Resources page for links to further information on employment, housing, health, disability and other benefits that may be available to you and your family.
