Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) announces Frontier Airlines will commence direct service to Denver, Colorado (DEN) from the “depart differently” airport starting on August 21, 2018. Booking is available now with roundtrip fares currently starting at $120, plus fees.
Frontier Airlines will operate the two-and-a-half hour flight with an A320 aircraft on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing SBA at 11:57am PST and arriving in DEN at 3:27pm MDT. The DEN flight to SBA departs at 8:59am MDT and arrives at 10:37am PST.
“Denver has proven to be a popular destination from SBA, with passenger loads steadily increasing year over year,” stated Hazel Johns, airport director for SBA. “Added carriers and flight options help to keep pricing competitive for our outbound travelers, underscoring the ease and convenience of using SBA as the departure airport of choice.”
SBA’s passenger counts have shown a steady rise over the last two years, with a 16% increase in June 2018 over June 2017.
