    The Adopted Operating and Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2022 and the Two-Year Financial Plan for 2022 & 2023 is comprised of all City funds, including the General Fund, special revenue funds and enterprise funds. Each fund accounts for distinct and uniquely funded operations.

    The City Budget Archives contain Fiscal-Year Adopted budgets in electronic form.
  • Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
    The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report is transmitted to the Mayor, City Council and Citizens of the City of Santa Barbara in November of each year. The most recent reports are available here.
  • Single Audit Report
    A Single Audit is conducted for each year the City expends in excess of $750,000 in federal funds. A Single Audit is a City-wide audit of expenditures of federal funds and includes both financial and compliance components.

    The City adopts an annual Statement of Investment Policy, which governs the investment of public funds and outlines the City’s investment objectives. The City portfolio is updated monthly and provides a detailed listing of all securities held by the City.
