Tony Ruggieri
City TV Production Supervisor

During the 31 years Tony has worked for City TV, he has maintained a high standard for City TV productions, including the live broadcast of City Council and other public meetings. He is proud of the role that City TV plays in serving the public information needs of the Santa Barbara community.  Tony enjoys golfing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his wife, Julie, and children, Sam and Quincy.

Janet Ahern
City TV Production Specialist

Janet has over 14 years of experience working in Public, Educational, and Government cable access television in Ohio and Illinois.  She also worked in the academic world as a Television Production Specialist for over 10 years.  She enjoys traveling overseas with her daughter, Jennifer.

Joshua Romero
City TV Production Aide - Lead

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Josh is now working towards his Associates Degree in Film Production at Santa Barbara City College, while also gaining work experience at City TV.  His fascination in video production grew because of his growing interest in technology and YouTube product reviews.  He then served 2 years as a volunteer for the video production team at his church, where he gained experience in live broadcast and video production.  He enjoys online gaming with friends as well as going to Chick Fil for lunch.

Sierra Kalman
City TV Production Aide - Lead

Sierra graduated the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Film and Media Studies degree and is excited to be working in the industry.  After graduating she moved to Palm Springs and worked as a Promotions Producer for KESQ News Channel 3. Now, back in Santa Barbara, she's continuing her work as a Promotions Producer and taking advantage of the beach every time she has the chance.  In her free time she likes to spend time with her friends and family. 

Danielle Smith
City TV Production Intern

Danielle is an undergraduate student pursuing a Communication degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her interest in the news industry sparked in high school where she worked as a producer and news anchor for the weekly broadcast, and she now reports for KCSB FM 91.9--an independent radio station. She is thankful for her internship at City TV because it helps her develop relevant skills necessary to pursue her career goals while connecting her to the Santa Barbara community. Outside of City TV, Daniel enjoys goingto the movie theater, traveling, and discovering new music.

Dan Gunko
City TV Production Intern

Dan is a current film student at UC Santa Barbara, involved in many different productions on and off campus. As an intern for City TV, Dan has been able to acquire valuable communication skills and get to work on important City projects, primarily through post production.  Outside of work, Dan values playing and watching basketball, and binging the newest shows on Netflix.
