CULINARY MANAGER  $19.78/HR

RECREATION PROGRAM LEADER (A-OK & RAP)

The Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the Academic year 2014-2015. Under the direction of the A-OK Site Coordinator for Santa Barbara Unified School District or RAP Site Director for City Parks and Recreation, the Program Leader supervises a group of 15-20 students, assisting with homework help and providing enrichment activities.  Program Leaders plan and deliver curricula, consider age level developmental needs and interests of participants, is a role model for students, support students to experience a variety of learning opportunities, and creates a positive environment with a goal of 100% participation.  RAP and A-OK operates at eleven Santa Barbara Unified Elementary Schools.  Applicants available the full 180 school days for the academic year 2014-2015 are encouraged to apply.  If you are interested in applying, please email your application and resume to Terry Brown, TBrown@SantaBarbaraCA.gov.  Applications are also accepted at the Human Resources Office, 735 Anacapa Street. 

SKATEBOARD PROGRAM DIRECTOR $15.20 - $17.20/HR D.O.E.
 Under the Direction of the Youth Activities/Sports Supervisors The Skateboard Program Director implements the Spring, Summer and Saturday Skateboard Clinics, staff and its participants at Skaters Point on Cabrillo Blvd. Coordinates program activities, leads weekly planning meetings, promotes positive relationships and community events with local skate shops, families, participants and local skater enthusiasts, leads and evaluates staff in program activities, maintains all necessary skater forms, skater information and sign in, collects and verifies timesheets, maintains the integrity of Skaters Point, and all safety equipment. WATERFRONT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT $12.45/HR D.O.E.
The City of Santa Barbara Waterfront Facilities Division is recruiting for two Waterfront Maintenance Assistants – Stearns Wharf Hourly Employee and Harbor Hourly Employee.  Duties include light maintenance and custodian work.  This position will work 24 to 32 hours a week.  Hours of the shifts are 14:00-23:00, 16:00-23:00 and 07:30-16:00.
