The purpose of the Committee is to initiate the drafting of all ordinances adding, amending or repealing sections of the Municipal Code (Ord. 3533).
The Ordinance Committee is composed of three (3) members of Council. They are appointed by the Mayor for a one year term, coinciding with the fiscal year.
The Committee meets at 12:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at 735 Anacapa Street. The Committee only meets when there are items to be heard.
