Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan Subcommittee

On June 12, 2018, City Council formed a Sea Level Rise (SLR) Adaptation Plan Subcommittee to provide guidance in the preparation of a Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan for the City. Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan that will assess the City’s vulnerabilities to sea level rise and analyze the feasibility, economic impacts, and environmental consequences of various adaptation strategies for the low-lying and coastal bluff areas of the City. The SLR Adaptation Plan Subcommittee consists of nine members from the City Council, Harbor Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission, and Water Commission. The subcommittee generally meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
