I am paid on a "1099" basis with my employer (not as an employee), do I need a business license?
I created a legal entity (such as a family partnership, investment partnership) as an administrative convenience and file as a business entity with the IRS and Franchise because they require it. Since this entity does no "business", is it required to pay business tax?
I do a small amount of consulting and all my clients are located outside the City. Does this require a license tax certificate?
