Living Wage Information

Through June 30, 2022, vendors that are paid $20,998 or more in business with the City of Santa Barbara in a fiscal year (July to June) are required to pay $19.60 per hour.  The threshold and hourly rates are adjusted annually based on changes to the January to January CPI for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers for Los Angeles-Riverside-Orange County, California.

Effective July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023, vendors that are paid $22,258 or more in business with the City of Santa Barbara in a fiscal year (July to June) are required to pay $20.77 per hour.
