This is the City of Santa Barbara hub for Case Status and Parcel Lookup. The two form linked from this page query, in real-time, the Community Development Department's Permit Plan System. These lookup forms provide the public direct access into information about City parcels and easy lookup of Building (BLD) permits, Zoning (ZIR) permits and Development Project (MST) permits in the City of Santa Barbara.

These query pages were upgraded in October of 2007. Some of the improved features are as follows.

• More stable performance (less down-time)
• Quicker return of query results
• More logical sorting of initial results
• User re-sorting of results
• All results pages can be bookmarked (you can return directly to a query result, case or parcel detail page)
• When the maximum number of records returned (250) is exceeded, you get the top 250 results
• Additional field (Case Planner) displayed with development project case detail
• Results summary and navigation at the top and bottom of each page
• Standardized visual design
• Forms are more Accessible for the sight impaired
