Make summer more fun by experiencing one of the country’s fastest growing sports—the triathlon. This camp’s main focus is to promote healthy lifestyles in the lives of all the young participants. Participants receive instruction in basic swimming, cycling, running, nutrition, hydration, and how to transition between events. Proper technique, safety, pacing and sportsmanship are emphasized. Older youth will work on more advanced skills. Instructors Jose Gonzales is a competitive triathlete and training coach with years of experience working with youth sports.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Participants must be able to swim one lap of a pool (25 yards), run one lap of a track (1/4 mile) and bike two miles. Each participant must have their own bike and helmet.
