Sports and Beach Camp Junior Counselors (Ages 14–16) takes place at Dwight Murphy Field (across the Santa Barbara Zoological Gardens). There will be a variety of sports activities including individual and team Olympic-style events with daily afternoon excursions to the beaches including East Beach, Rincon, Arroyo Burro Beach, and Carpinteria City Beach.

Aquacamp Junior Counselors (Ages 12–16) takes place at Chase Palm Park Casa las Palmas located at 323 East Cabrillo Blvd. Aquacamp hosts 4 two-week sessions and 1 one-week session and includes water safety instruction, tide pool studies, and marine life discoveries, boogie boarding, arts and crafts, and fishing. Campers are transported in the Aquacamp bus.

Skateboard Clinic Junior Counselors (Ages 14-16) takes place at Skaters Point Cabrillo Boulevard at Garden Street. Junior Counselors must be available for 2 one-week back to back sessions. Skateboard Clinic JC’s must know how to skate, model safe skating and wear safety equipment including helmet, knee and elbow pads at all times.

Additional Information
Selected Junior Counselors are placed with a counselor in groups of 8 to 10 participants. Camps are limited to specific numbers of campers and thus space for Junior Counselors is limited. Generally 4 JCs are allowed per session. Camps start at 9am and end at 3:30 or 4:00 depending on the camp. JCs are not required to come early or stay late for extended day sessions; however, they are more than welcome. JCs are never left alone with campers and are under the supervision of a counselor 18 years or older. Junior Counselors earn community service credit.
