Bring your skateboard,
helmet, and pads and get ready to skate like the pros! This
clinic provides comprehensive safety and skateboarding instruction
for various levels of ability based on participant needs.
Safety is of the utmost importance and helmet, knee pads,
elbow pads, and wrist guards are necessary and must be worn
at all times while at Skater’s Point.
Skater’s Point will
be closed to the general public throughout the nine sessions
so that we maintain a high level of safety, security and
increase the educational opportunity to our participants.

where we will talk about the day’s upcoming events,
do some quick stretches, and organize campers into groups.
At the end of the day, there will be approximately 30 minutes
of “free skate” time, which will allow the campers
to practice their newfound skills on their own, with help
available as needed by the counselors. Junior Counselors
between the ages of 14 and 17 are being accepted now into
this program. Junior Counselors will earn community service
credits. Applications are available by visiting the Junior
Counselor Web page.
Transportation
This camp does not travel and transportation is not an issue.
Parents must be aware of drop-off and pick-up procedures
in conjunction with the Downtown Parking lot use, as the
attendants will allow parents 5–10 minutes in the
lot adjacent to Skater’s Point. The parking around
the park is extremely limited.
