 Due to popular demand, we are offering week-long, 3-hour camps this summer to increase children’s studio time. Camps will emphasize “throwing” techniques. A flexible curriculum includes:
- Throwing on the Wheel: Basic throwing techniques.
- Tile Making: Learn how to design and fabricate dynamic and colorful tile projects.
- Clay & Culture: Visit a variety of places and peoples in this multicultural exploration clay camp. Travel to Russia, Japan, Greece, Mexico, Peru, Ancient Egypt and more.
- Contemporary Clay: We’ll look at contemporary ceramics as inspiration for both sculptural and functional projects.
