Camps: Aquacamp

Aquacamp: Ages 6-10
Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm
Extended Care: 7:30-9am & 4-5:30pm
Five 2-week sessions:
June 14-25, June 28-July 9 (no camp July 5), July 12-23, July 26-August 6, August 9-20

Looking for a summer of water fun? Aquacamp is filled with exciting adventures including water safety instruction, tide pool and marine life discovery, water games, boogie boarding, fishing, and arts and crafts. Session 1 visits the S.B. Sailing Center, the Maritime Museum and Refugio State Beach. Session 2 visits the Long Beach Aquarium and the Ty Warner Sea Center. Session 3 will go to the Lake Casitas Water Park, the Ventura Aquatic Center, and the Lompoc Aquatic Center. Session 4 features visits from local heroes from the Fire Dept, Lifequards, Harbor Patrol, the Police Dept, and Paramedics. Session 5 features bowling at Buena Lanes, a visit to the S.B. Zoo, and a Ventura Beach Bash. All sessions include pier fishing from Stearns Wharf, guest speakers, and visiting a variety of beaches. Extended day is available for this camp for an extra fee for families needing before and/or after camp supervision.

Each session of Aquacamp is different, but all sessions promise to be an exciting, fun-filled two weeks.

Transportation
Aquacamp travels by the Parks & Recreation bus most of the time, but also utilizes the electric shuttle system when it is feasible.
