eBills ExplainedUtilities Online

What are eBills?

Electronic bills, also known as eBills, are a convenient, secure and environmentally friendly way of receiving your utility bill from the City of Santa Barbara.

eBills contain all of the same information you’re used to seeing on your paper bills.

Selecting to “Stop Paper Bills and Start eBills” when you register for Utilities Online will enroll you to receive eBills. You will get an email notification each month when your new bill is available. You can view it online and pay online if you choose. eBills can be printed or filed online for record-keeping if needed.

Be aware that enrolling for eBills will cancel your mailed paper bill and you will only receive the eBill. eBills are only available from the date of opting out of paper bills onward. You cannot view an eBill for a billing period in which you received a paper bill.
