Jobs at the Library

If you are interested in working at the Central Library or at any of the branch libraries of the Santa Barbara Public Library System, you are invited to submit an application for any current job opening, full-time or part-time.

The City of Santa Barbara Human Resources Division conducts job recruitments for full-time employees of the Library and applications are accepted at the Human Resources Division office at Santa Barbara City Hall, 735 Anacapa Street. Information on all library department vacancies and job application forms are available online.

Application forms for part-time positions are also available at the Central Library Administration office (40 East Anapamu St.) during office hours Monday through Friday, 10am to 5:30pm or at branch libraries and may be submitted at any of these same locations.
