Community Development Block Grant

Funding Amount: $289,274

Funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Recovery Act Community Development Block Grant funds are for hard development costs associated with infrastructure activities. These activities promote energy efficiency and conservation through rehabilitation of existing buildings that provide basic services to residents.

These funds are in addition to the funds allocated in the 2008/2009 Action Plan. The funding amount is based on a formula that is determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
