HARBOR RATE & FEE SCHEDULE
FOR SANTA BARBARA HARBOR

Rates and fees effective July 1, 2009

PERMANENT BERTHS
Fees assessed on length of boat or slip, whichever is greater. Payment is due on the 1st of the month. A late payment penalty of $35.00 is assessed if payment is received after the 15th.
Fees are as follows:

20 Foot Slip
$7.26/ft/mo.

25 Foot Slip
$7.62/ft/mo.

28 Foot Slip
$7.81/ft/mo.

30 Foot Slip
$7.98/ft/mo.

35 Foot Slip
$8.33/ft/mo.

40 Foot Slip
$8.66/ft/mo.

43 Foot Slip
$8.88/ft/mo.

45 Foot Slip
$9.03/ft/mo.

50 and up
$9.37/ft/mo.

Side ties w/utilities
subject to above rates.

Side ties w/o utilities

Live-aboard Fee
$140.00/mo.

VISITOR BERTHS – Recreational vessels
$.90/linear foot/day
1. Base rate for the first 14 cumulative days
2. Rate doubles after 14 cumulative days
3. Minimum leave time 5 consecutive days to restore base rate
4. Day is 24 hours, commencing noon
5. Payment is due in advance. No refunds.
6. Visitor stays over 28 days subject to penalty and citation.

VISITOR BERTHS – Commercial fishing vessels
$.70/linear foot/day
1. Base rate for the first 14 cumulative days
2. Commercial fishing vessels remain at base rate after 14 days provided that two (2) current DFAG fish tickets are shown every two weeks.
3. If no fish tickets are shown, minimum leave time 5 consecutive days to restore base rate.
4. If no fish tickets are shown and vessel remains in the harbor, the rates shall be the same as for recreational vessels.
5. Day is 24 hours, commencing noon
6. Payment is due in advance, fish tickets shown in advance. No refunds.

Penalties:
$35.00 - Visiting vessel tied up without permission
$5.00 - Visiting vessel daily penalty for non-prepayment
$10.00 + double amount owed  - Penalty for leaving harbor owing visitor fees
$75.00 to $175.00 per day depending on vessel size  - Penalty for stays over 28 days. Subject to citation.

WHARFAGE AND DOCKAGE:

Dockage
Pier Tie up basis.
$.50 foot per day

Wharfage
Service, repair or supply vessel tied to city pier.
$.50 foot per hour

 

Fish Hoist 1 & 2
Tokens sold - $1.00 each, good for 10 minutes.
$6.00 Hour

Fish Hoist 3
Accepts quarters.
$7.50 Hour

Fish Hoist 4
Tokens sold - $2.00 each, good for 10 minutes.
$12.00 Hour

Commercial Ice
$.03 per lb. for ten (10) tons or more.
$.04 per lb.

Water
Includes wharfage, $15.50 minimum.
$15.50 per 1,000 gallons.

 

 

PARKING
Maximum vehicle length 20’ in Harbor Lot. Annual permits available, please request information at (805) 564-5523.

$2.00  per hour – Vehicle ($12.00 maximum per day, Harbor Parking Lot, Leadbetter, Garden Street, and Palm Park Lots
$3.00  per 3 hours – Vehicle ($7.00 maximum per day, Honor Fee System, Cabrillo East, Cabrillo West, and Harbor West, lots.
$2.00 per hour – Boat trailer in Launch Ramp ($8.00 maximum per day)
$0.50 per 5 minutes - Launch Ramp washdown fee.

MARINA GATE KEYS (non-refundable).
Card Style
$7.00 each, – Card Style (Up to 9 keys)
$25.00 each, – Card Style (10th key and additional keys)

Fob Style
$12.00 each, – Fob Style (Up to 9 keys)
$30.00 each, – Fob Style (10th key and additional keys)

ADMINISTRATIVE FEES

Slip Transfer
Vessel sale, slip permit reassignment or transfer, addition of partner to permit.
$200 - $250 per foot

Waiting List Slip Transfer
When permit has been obtained from a waiting list following vessel sale, slip permit reassignment or
transfer, additions of partner.

Processing Fee
Slip trades, new boat in slip, addition of spouse to slip permit.

Impound
For impounding of vessels. Fee is in addition to towing, storage, and other reasonable costs incurred.

Non-emergency
A fee shall be charged for Harbor Patrol services except for bona fide emergencies, at a rate based on the current Waterfront contact hourly service rates for manpower and equipment.

Duplicating Fee
For all requested copies.
$.20 per page

Non-Sufficient-Funds (NSF) Check Fee
$25.00

Up to $300.00 per day plus 20% of gross sales

Aquatic Activities or Exhibit.
Up to $5.00 per day

Catamaran Beach Storage
65 permits sold. Season is the 1st Friday of April through October 31st.
$200.00 per season

West Beach Storage
50 permits sold.  Out-riggers, Sailboats and Rowing Dories. Sold annually, beginning 2nd Friday of March.
$250.00 per year

6 permits sold. Each rack has maximum storage for six, single-person , human powered vessels. 1st Sold annually, beginning 2nd Friday of March.
$400.00 per year

Skiff Row
Sold semi-annually, beginning April1 and October 1.
$100.00 for six months
