2008 Annual Parade of Lights

Join us for the 23nd anniversary celebration of the Santa Barbara Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 7th at the Santa Barbara Waterfront. Save the date as nearly 35 boats dress up in colored lights and parade around the Harbor.

Santa’s Village 3-5 p.m.  Bring your camera for a photo op with Santa and friends. Santa arrives at 3 p.m. escorted by Harbor Patrol and his elves. Santa’s Village has become a cherished holiday activity for children of all ages. Located on the City Pier in the Harbor (below Brophy's), Santa’s Village will feature 12-tons of snow from the North Pole, holiday carolers and special treats from Santa Barbara Maritime Museum.

Santa Barbara Boat Parade 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Come early to cheer on your favorite boats as they prepare for the Boat Parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. Best viewing locations include Stearns Wharf and the Breakwater in the Harbor. Bring warm coats.
