2012 Parade of Lights Recap It was a perfect and clear night for the 27th Annual Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 9th. Festivities began at 3:00 p.m. with Santa’s Village in the harbor. Hundreds of spectators brought friends and family down to celebrate. Photos with Santa, ten tons of snow and the K-Lite holiday music van were featured sights. At 5:30 p.m. the Boat Parade began. Conway Family’s Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room hosted a Judging Party as thousands cheered on 26 boats decorated to the theme of “Starry, Starry, Night.” A spectacular fireworks display by BAY FIREWORKS immediately followed the boat parade and an Awards Ceremony was performed at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum.
