Santa Barbara is perfect for year round sports and City Leagues are popular, competitive, and lots of fun! Depending on the season, you can sign up your team for softball, basketball, soccer or indoor and beach volleyball leagues. Register your team or you are encouraged to register as an individual player. We do our best to place you on an existing team or on a newly created team. Soccer: Spring and Summer Leagues: 7 vs 7 coed w/ goalies and regulation size goals. Spring and summer league games played at City College’s La Playa Stadium on Friday nights from 6pm-10pm. Beach Volleyball: Summer and late summer (4-vs-4) coed beach leagues with matches played on East Beach. For team records, game schedules and league rules please visit this website http://teamsideline.com/santabarbara.
Volleyball: East Beach Volleyball is world famous. California Volleyball Association (CVBA) offers 1-day tournaments with two-person teams in Santa Barbara. Divisions: Men’s A & B; Women’s AA. Entry fee: $42.50 per team online/$50 per team if registered on day of tournament. Registration: Online at http://cbva.org/ or day of tournament. Where: East Beach Volleyball Courts; check-in at 8:30am. 2012 Tournament dates: May 18, June 9 and July 7. The Semanatica Tournament is scheduled each year in early July.

Season runs from September 12 thru mid-November
Divisions – Men’s A, B and C; Women’s open
Team fee: $500 – Individual player fee: $73
Submit a team roster form with team fees in person @ the Sports Office located at 1118 East Cabrillo Blvd. (include a team name and preferred division). Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8am–5pm. You can pay in person with a check made out to City of SB, cash or VISA or MasterCard.
You may fax (805) 897-2605 or email your team roster and pay over the phone with a VISA or MASTERCARD.
Game nights:
A-division: Monday nights @ SBCC or SB High School
B-division: Monday nights @ BSCC or SB High School
C-division: Thursday nights @ SBCC
Game times: 7pm, 8pm or 9pm
If needed ……some games may be scheduled Sunday late afternoon @ Girls Inc. in Goleta.
Regular season = 7 games + all teams make the playoffs and are seeded by regular season team records for single elimination playoffs.
