Volleyball: Bump, set, spike-DIVE! The Sports Division offers a fall and spring (6-person team) indoor league for Men’s, Women’s, and Coed divisions playing in local gyms. Register at the Sports Office. If you can’t jump in the sand, you can still leap out of the gym!
Basketball: Rebound, outlet, push it up, score against local men and women hoopsters at all levels. Fall, Winter and Summer Men’s leagues are played in local gyms. Register a team at the Sports Office or individual players can either register on-line or at the Sports Office. Lace em’ up and get ready to run!

East Beach Volleyball is world famous. If you are interested in great beach volleyball and over the age of 15, there is a tournament for you. Beach volleyball runs from April through September. If you are interested in receiving information and a schedule of upcoming tournaments, call 564-5422 in March.
Running Events: The Santa Barbara Athletic Association has a fantastic year-round run series. For information regarding the race that you are interested in or to receive an event calendar, please call 964-2591.
Soccer Leagues: If you are interested in running and competing at a variety of levels, please call 564-5422. The Sports Office will give you information on our 6 on 6 coed summer soccer league played at Dwight Murphy Soccer field on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings. Or, if you are interested in year-round weekend leagues we will give you the contact person for either the Santa Barbara Women’s Soccer Organization or the Central Coast Soccer League. FIELD RENTALS Many of the Santa Barbara recreational fields can be reserved for use. If you are interested in reserving a softball or soccer field for a friendly game or practice, please call 564-5422 for availability. |
