GARDEN STREET PARKING LOT

Garden Street parking lot is located at Cabrillo Boulevard and Garden Street. Parking space is available for 205 single-stall vehicles, three handicap vehicles and five oversized vehicles (two-stall vehicles).  The lot is within walking distance to Stearns Wharf, Skater’s Point, Santa Barbara Visitor Center and the Sunday Artwalk. Public restrooms are next to the visitor center. Two types of parking systems are provided for public convenience: Attendant Parking System; and Honor Fee Parking System.

NO PUBLIC PARKING ALLOWED BETWEEN 2:00 A.M. AND 6:00 A.M.
Citations enforced at Cabrillo East, Cabrillo West, Palm Park, Garden Street,
 Harbor West, and Leadbetter.

Attendant Parking System
Hourly parking with a kiosk parking attendant.
Payment by cash or local personal check with valid I.D. (No credit cards)


Parking Fees
Single vehicle 20-feet and under: $2.00 per hour or part thereof; and $12.00 maximum per day per space.
Oversized vehicle over 20-feet: $4.00 per hour or part thereof; and $24.00 maximum per day per space.
Parking available in five (5) designated yellow marked spaces only on a first come basis.
Rates are based on vehicles over 20-feet up to 33-feet long.

Disabled Placards
Oversized vehicles displaying disabled placard/plate: $1.00 per hour or part thereof; $8 maximum per day per space. 
Single vehicle displaying disabled placard/plate: $.50 per hour or part thereof; $4 maximum per day per space.


Hours of Operation
Off-season Parking (Labor Day  through Memorial Day)
Saturday & Sunday, holidays and special events (8 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
Peak-season Parking (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day)
Monday through Sunday, holidays and special events (8 a.m. to 10 p.m.)


15-minute Grace Period
Customers of the Santa Barbara Visitors Center are allowed a 15-minute grace period
(after 15-minutes the hourly parking fees apply).



Honor Fee Parking System
Self parking pay-box system.
Pay by cash only- honor fee parking monitored daily

Parking Fees
Single vehicle 20-feet and under: $3.00 for 3 hours (minimum); and $7.00 maximum per day per space.
Oversized vehicle over 20-feet: $6.00 for 3 hours (minimum); and $14.00 maximum per day per space.
Oversized parking available in five (5) designated yellow marked spaces only on a first come basis.
Oversized rates are based on vehicles over 20-feet up to 33-feet long.
