Come join your classmates and nearby junior high school students every second Friday of each month to "Jump-Off" the school year at the hottest Jr. High Dance Spot in Santa Barbara: "The Rec Center." Special guest Deejays will be spinning the best of Hip-Hop, RnB, Dance and we will be taking it back with some "Old School" too.

$5 dollars per dance. Dance starts at 7:30pm and ends at 10:30pm sharp. If you're ready to have a good time, then come on down to 100 East Carrillo Street were all the fun seems endless.

ID is REQUIRED; school ID will be accepted for a limited time only. Dress code and dance policy are strictly enforced. Food and drinks are available. Dates: 2008: October 10, November 14, December 12. 2009: January 9, February 13, March 13

Attention Parents:
This year we are requiring dance participants to register for the dances. Registration includes completion of a standard Activity Registration Form and the issuance of a Jr. High Jump Off picture ID card. Initial registration with ID card is FREE. There is a $5 replacement charge for lost cards. You may register at our offices on the third floor of the Carrillo Recreation Center between 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday, or download the application by clicking here.

Jump-Off Street Team
If you're full of energy, a people person and enjoy being creative- then we want you! We are looking for teens to be a part of the coolest street team to participate in the promotion of dances and give us new ideas and new concepts to take our dances to the next level of excitement. Monthly meetings with lunch will be provided. The best part of the Jump-Off Street Team is that you earn community service while having a fun time.
