Artists will have fun learning basic throwing skills on the potter’s wheel and using underglaze techniques to finish wares. Flexible handbuilt projects will be incorporated daily into the camp as well: tile fabrication, modelling (sculpture), creating a musical instrument and looking at different artists and cultures to inspire projects. This 3-hour clay camp is a great value for ceramiscists with a flexible studio time for throwing and handbuilding.

The Chase Palm Park Craft Center, located at 234 East Cabrillo Blvd. on the ocean front of Cabrillo Blvd. next to the Chase Palm Park Recreation Center, boasts a terrific waterfront studio location offering a full range of low-fire materials in an inspiring, fun and educational atmosphere. Classes are kept small with personal attention guaranteed by experienced instructors.
