City Council approved UUD #10

September 2006

Southern California Edison (SCE) began preliminary design.

December 2006

Survey of project area completed.

Spring 2007

Preliminary SCE submitted to City for review.

Summer 2007

Design temporarily put on-hold pending approval of City streetlight improvements.

October 2007

Council approved City funded streetlight improvements.

Future Steps

Spring 2008

Cox and Verizon preliminary plans due to City for review.

Summer 2008

Final plans and specifications due.

Summer 2008

Project competitively bid by SCE.

Fall 2008

Civil excavation starts.

Spring 2009

Underground utility system installed.

Fall 2009

Private service lateral connections to underground utility system complete.

Winter 2009/2010

Overhead system removed.
