The  Santa Barbara Municipal Airport is about 10 miles (15 minutes) north of the City of Santa Barbara on the 101 freeway. The airport is virtually surrounded by the  City of Goleta and adjacent to the  University of California Santa Barbara. The airport has plenty of short-term (hours) and long-term (days) parking with an overflow lot off Hollister Avenue, with a convenient shuttle provided to and from the terminal. Shuttles, taxicabs, and buses are available for transportation to and from the City.
