Santa Barbara is perfect for year round sports and City Leagues are popular, competitive, and lots of fun! Depending on the season, you can sign up your team for softball, basketball, soccer or indoor volleyball leagues. You can also register as an individual player and we do our best to place you on an existing team or place you on a newly created team. Click on the Sport Links below to get information on current leagues.

LEAGUES
Ultimate Frisbee: Played on East Beach in front of the Cabrillo Bathhouse on summer evenings. For more information about the Ultimate Frisbee league or for league rules Click Here. For the Ultimate Frisbee Team Sign-up form click here.

Soccer: 6-on-6 coed spring, summer and fall leagues played at Dwight Murphy Soccer field or at City College’s La Playa Stadium. Click here for more information about the soccer league or league rules. Click here for 2010 Soccer Team Sign-up form.

Basketball: Fall and spring leagues are played in local gyms. Click here for basketball league information and league rules. Register your team at the Sports Office or individual players can either register on-line or at the Sports Office. Lace em’ up and get ready to run! Softball: Enjoy Santa Barbara softball with Men’s, Women’s, and Coed divisions for all skill levels. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter seasons. Go to http://www.mlsoftball.com/ and select “Programs”, “Santa Barbara”, and then “Registration” or call 800-913-7889 ext. 3 for phone assistance. Call the Sports office at 564-5422 for league registration deadlines and fees. See you on the field!

TOURNAMENTS
Volleyball: East Beach Volleyball is world famous. Four 1-day California Volleyball Association (CVBA) tournaments with two-person teams. Divisions: Men’s A & B; Women’s AA. Entry fee: $42.50 per team online/$50 per team if registered on day of tournament. Registration: Online at http://cbva.org/ or day of tournament. Where: East Beach Volleyball Courts; check-in at 8:30am.

Tournament dates: May 30, June 13, July 11 & 12

FIELD RENTALS
Need to rent field space for your team practice or games? Call 564-5422 to rent field space for team practices or games at the following parks or schools: Dwight Murphy Park, Cabrillo Park, Pershing Park, Ortega Park, La Cumbre Jr. High, La Colina Jr. High, or Santa Barbara Jr. High schools.
