Neighborhood Boundary

Area: approx. 184 acres
North: the property lines above Samarkand Drive and Serena Road
South: Highway 101
East: Mission Creek
West: Las Positas Road

Schools, Parks and Places of Interest

The neighborhood contains a portion of Oak Park. The MacKenzie Park Lawn Bowling facility is adjacent to Samarkand to the north. This area also includes Samarkand Senior Retirement Facility.

Neighborhood Profile

This is a well-developed and well-maintained residential neighborhood with little potential for population increase. The General Plan calls for a density of five dwelling units to the acre throughout the entire area. Current zoning conforms to the General Plan with an E-3 category.
