Education & Outreach
Youth education and community outreach are essential to the long-term success of the Creeks Division’s efforts to restore creeks and improve water quality.
The community is invited to participate in creek and beach clean-ups, the Adopt-a-Beach program, native planting days, the annual Creek Week, and more! Youth watershed education programs and field trips are provided to local schools at no cost.
Interested community members can attend monthly Creeks Advisory Committee meetings, watch them on City TV or online, and apply to serve on the Committee to help assist and advise staff, Parks and Recreation Commission, and City Council on Creeks Division projects and programs. | Community Creek Stewardship Projects
