Catch Basin Screens
In 2011, the Creeks Division completed a 2-year project to install screens on storm drain openings throughout the City.
The screens help to improve water quality by preventing trash and other debris from entering the storm drains, which flow directly to our creeks and the ocean untreated.To prevent the risk of flooding, the screens retract during heavy rain to allow storm water to flow through.Click here to view a map of storm drain inlets in the City.
