Bring unused or waste chemicals to the Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center. Chemicals that are still usable are placed in a special reuse area. Anyone can take these products for free.

The City of Santa Barbara has a small Antifreeze, Batteries, Oil, and Paint (ABOP) Facility where residents of Santa Barbara, Montecito, and vicinity can drop off these wastes only. Usable latex paint is available free to anyone for reuse. Hours: Saturday 9-2.
