Adjacent to the Santa Barbara Zoological Gardens, this sports area has 1 softball field, 1 soccer field, bleachers, and a fitness circuit-training course, and playground.

A 50-meter, year-round, outdoor swimming facility along the oceanfront and near the Santa Barbara harbor. Lap swimming and open swim daily. Punch cards available. On-duty lifeguards, lockers, spring board, starting blocks. The pool has 7 lanes and is 3 1/2' to 10' deep. Masters Program. Headquarters for the Santa Barbara Swim Club.
Los Banos is located next to West Beach Wading Pool offered to youth age seven and younger. This 18 inch deep pool is open daily from May through September, noon to 5pm (weather permitting). On-duty lifeguard.

A two-level park with lawn bowling greens and a clubhouse on the upper level and a lower level with a reservable facility with kitchen, fireplace, barbecue pit and large patio adjacent to open playing fields. The lower park also has a playground and 2 youth baseball fields.

One of the longest "short courses" in Southern California at 6,009 yards, the Santa Barbara Golf Club provides the most affordable golf experience in the area. Prime time play between 7am-9am daily. Open daily dawn to dusk, these 12 hard courts include an enclosed stadium which can seat 1,000 spectators. 3 lighted courts until 9pm Monday-Friday. Headquarters for the department's tennis programs. Racket stringing, equipment rentals, shower and locker facilities available.

A favorite site of senior citizens, this downtown park covers 1 ½ acres and features lawn bowling greens. The park is home to the Louise Lowry Recreation Center that hosts many senior enrichment programs.

This 14,600 square feet of skateboard and in-line fun is located in Chase Palm Park along the waterfront at Garden Street and Cabrillo Blvd. This state-of-the-art cement facility features a half-pipe, rails, fun boxes and other skating elements. Younger and less experienced skaters are encouraged to skate on weekends before noon. Helmets, elbow and knee pads required at all times. Free!

Welcome to a piece of sports history! Reminiscent of inner city gymnasiums of long ago, the Carrillo Street Gym is a city landmark, newly renovated and ready for a workout. Locker rooms, showers, free weights and universal machines in the heart of downtown. Open Basketball, 40+ Open Basketball and Open Volleyball (winter only) programs available. The Gym is also available for rent for private events. Drop in fees or puch cards for frequent users.

This oceanfront facility is one of the best kept secrets in town. Open to the public, it has showers, lockers, a weight room, beach wheelchair and volleyball rental and adult group activities such as noon volleyball. No membership required; pay by the day or by punch card. Monthly locker rental available.
