These areas provide access to the ocean and sand areas for passive and active recreation.

The only access to the beach for one mile in either direction.

Location: Mesa Lane, south of Cliff Drive

Location: End of Santa Cruz Boulevard
Hours: Sunrise-10pm

The beachfront offers picnic facilities, more than a dozen volleyball courts on the beach, and a full service restaurant at the East Beach Grill. The Cabrillo Pavilion Bathhouse at 1119 East Cabrillo Boulevard, built in 1927, offers showers, lockers, a weight room, beach wheelchair and volleyball rental.

Large city beach and park adjacent to the Santa Barbara Harbor and adjacent to Shoreline Park. Many catamaran sailors and wind surfers use this beach. Reservable grassy picnic and barbecue sites.

Location: Shoreline Drive and Loma Alta
Hours: Sunrise-10pm

Situated between Stearn's Wharf and the harbor, the 11-acre West Beach offers a picturesque sandy area for sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, wind surfing and beach volleyball. Large palm trees and a wide walkway/bike path make this beachfront area a popular tourist spot.
