City Meetings

  • City Council Meetings
    The City of Santa Barbara, with the assistance of Government Access TV-18 and the City Clerk's Office, now provides, free of charge, live and archived video streams of City Council meetings on-demand to web site visitors.



  • Finance Committee
    The Finance Committee's function is to review matters pertaining to the finances of the City and to make recommendations to the City Council. These matters include, but are not limited to, reviewing interim financial statements, monthly investment reports, the City's annual independent audit, City fees and service charges and budgets.

  • Ordinance Committee
    The purpose of the Committee is to initiate the drafting of all ordinances adding, amending or repealing sections of the Municipal Code. The Committee meets at 12:30 p.m. in Council Chambers and only meets when there are items to be heard.



  • Airport Commission
    The Airport Commission will start their video archive with the meeting of March 19, 2008. Meetings will be available for on-demand viewing, and not for live streaming.

  • Architectural Board of Review (ABR)
    The Architectural Board of Review (ABR) video archives began with the meeting held February 11, 2008.

  • Creeks Advisory Committee
    The Creeks Advisory Committee began to stream live meetings and start their video archive with the meeting of Wednesday, July 18, 2007.

  • Park & Recreation Commission
    The Park & Recreation Commission meetings video archives began with the meeting held Wednesday June 27, 2007.

  • Planning Commission
    The Planning Commission meetings video archives began with the meeting held Thursday, January 24, 2008.

  • Transportation and Circulation Committee
    The Transportation and Circulation Committee meeting video archives will start with the meeting of Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. (PT)
