BEACH LIFEGUARD | $11.00 - $13.00/HR –EMT’S RECEIVE 50 CENTS INCREASE | Work 25-30 hours per week from June 12th – August 26th, including weekends, guarding and providing first aid at Santa Barbara City beaches. Ocean experience in swimming, paddling, surfing, and Lifeguarding is desirable. Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid, or EMT and a Valid Diver’s License required. Candidates must pass a physical tryout, medical history exam, drug screening and a 40 hour paid lifeguard academy. Competitive testing and interviews scheduled on April 17th or April 24th. Check-in at 9:15 a.m. at the Cabrillo Bathhouse - East Beach.
