BEACH LIFEGUARD

$11.00 - $13.00/HR –EMT’S RECEIVE 50 CENTS INCREASE

Work 25-30 hours per week from June 12th – August 26th, including weekends, guarding and providing first aid at Santa Barbara City beaches.  Ocean experience in swimming, paddling, surfing, and Lifeguarding is desirable. Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid, or EMT and a Valid Diver’s License required.  Candidates must pass a physical tryout, medical history exam, drug screening and a 40 hour paid lifeguard academy.  Competitive testing and interviews scheduled on April 17th or April 24th.  Check-in at 9:15 a.m. at the Cabrillo Bathhouse - East Beach.  For more information, please call: Aquatic Offices at (805) 897-2680

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR

Work 25-30 hours per week from June 14th – August 14th.  Supervise, educate and train youth 9-17 years of age at East Beach.  Activities include swimming, running, paddling, team competitions, ocean safety, beach trips and excursions.  Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid, or EMT and a Valid Diver’s License required. Ocean experience in swimming, paddling, surfing, and Lifeguarding is desirable. LOT OPERATOR I

$8.00/HR

Collect parking tickets & fees, make change, & answer questions.  Apply at Parking Office, 1221 Anacapa St.  564-5656.

WATERFRONT PARKING ATTENDANT

$8.00/HR & UP DOE

Weekends available now.  Weekdays & weekends, morning & afternoon shifts.  Skills needed:  basic math, military time, money handling skills, customer service skills, knowledge of Santa Barbara.  Apply at 132-A Harbor Way 897-1965.

WATERFRONT PARKING LEAD/LEAD TRAINEE

$9.50/HR & UP DOE

Weekdays & weekends (weekends & holidays mandatory).  Morning/afternoon & evening shifts.  Candidate must be reliable, trustworthy, and dependable.  Skills Needed:  customer service, money-handling skills, leadership, record-keeping, and traffic control.  Current CDL required.  Apply at 132-A Harbor Way 897-1965.
