The Garden Wise Guys has changed to Garden Wise! In the premiere episode of this new show host Meg West, Landscape Architect with Arcadia Studio, continues the legacy of the Garden Wise Guys by educating the residents of Santa Barbara County about sustainable landscaping and water conservation. In this episode, Meg introduces herself to the viewers by showing us the “greening” practices she has undertaken in her own home. In addition, she takes us to a recent project in the Santa Barbara foothills to discuss the details involved in creating a site appropriate firewise landscape design. Local landscape professional, Robert Adams, tells us how to create a water-wise parkway that enhances your property. Finally, we introduce two new regular segments, What Tree is That? and Plant Rant.

Premieres Sunday, April 29 at 9:00 PM on City TV, Channel 18.

Garden Wise is a television program about designing & maintaining a sustainable landscape. The quarterly show is produced by City TV and funded by the Santa Barbara County Water Agency, the City of Santa Barbara Public Works Department, Goleta Water District as well as other water providers in Santa Barbara County.
