Garden Wise Guys is a 30-minute show about designing & maintaining a sustainable landscape. It is hosted by two local landscape architects: Owen Dell, of County Landscape & Design, and Billy Goodnick, City of Santa Barbara Parks & Recreation Department. With a unique sense of humor, the Garden Wise Guys will give you the basic information you need to start making changes in your own garden.

In their 11th episode, California native plants take the spotlight. Meet Carol Bornstein at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden as you are introduced to native plants. Then, take a tour of local demonstration gardens in neighborhoods throughout Santa Barbara to see how different microclimates result in a variety of unique native plants. Finally, get detailed instructions on how to create a California native garden in your own backyard.
