Functions

The Finance Committee's function is to review matters pertaining to the finances of the City and to make recommendations to the City Council. These matters include, but are not limited to, reviewing interim financial statements, monthly investment reports, the City's annual independent audit, City fees and service charges and budgets.

Membership

The Finance Committee is composed of three (3) members of City Council.  They are appointed by Council for one calendar year.  In the event of the absence of a regular Finance Committee member, the Mayor may serve as an alternate member. 

Meeting Schedule

The Committee meets on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. in the David Gebhard Public Meeting Room at 630 Garden Street.  The Committee only meets when there are items to be heard.  Additional special meetings may be scheduled as needed.
